As the parents of three wonderful daughters (shown in the upper-left corner of our site - yes, it's a bit outdated, but we still like to remember them at that age!), we know first-hand the importance of getting children excited about reading at an early age. When children see and recognize their own name throughout the story, they get "hooked" on reading for a lifetime! That's the reason we opened Books About You, and its the belief that led us to create the Give-A-Book Program - because ALL children deserve the chance to experience the joy of reading.

We've included a few sample personalized books at the bottom of this page to give you the basic idea of how we "personalize" each story for your child.
